A message from the Partners

We wanted to let you know some important news. After 10 years as a GP partner at Schopwick, Dr Josh Plaut has decided to leave NHS General Practice and move on to new opportunities in private practice.

Josh has been a very important part of the Schopwick family since he joined us in 2012. As well as being a brilliant clinician, he has devoted time and energy to our patients and also helped us develop the skills of our team. During his time with us, he has helped us develop our computer system and worked to improve the care of patients with long term conditions. Josh has also taken the lead on palliative care and our nursing homes.

All of our GP Trainees have benefited from his education and training skills and we know how much our nursing, administrative and reception teams will miss him.

Throughout the covid pandemic, Josh also helped us to re-organise our appointment system so that we could continue to give the best possible care to our patients.

We are all going to miss him and although we really tried to persuade him to stay, ultimately we want the best for Josh and his family.  We owe Josh a tremendous thank you for his time at Schopwick and although we are sad to say goodbye we really wish him well in the future.
