Telephone Costs

We understand that patient have concerns over the cost of a telephone call to the surgery and would like to inform you of the cost compared to a standard BT line rate.

0844 are low call numbers and for most patients there is little or no difference in the price between calling the 0844 number and our old number.

Prices do vary, but according to the most common BT tariff, calls to the surgery during opening hours previously cost 3.36p per minute + VAT plus a 2.55p + VAT connection charge. 

Calls to 0844 numbers now cost a flat rate of 4.26p per minute + VAT.  Calls from mobiles and other tariffs may  vary according to the package you have with your provider.
